MVPC IS BUILT ON BIBLICAL VALUES
We believe the Bible is the unique and authoritative Word of God, which teaches through the mediation of the Holy Spirit all that is necessary for faith and life.
We believe spiritual growth is a corporate experience developed through worship, prayer, study, service and accountable community, and that it is our sacred privilege to participate in nurturing the faith of the next generations. We believe Jesus calls each of us to act as peacemakers in all of our relationships.
We believe in living out the whole of the Great Commission. This includes personal and corporate communication of the gospel and the application of redemptive justice and service locally and internationally.
WE ARE ECOIn January 2014 after a long process, MVPC moved from being a member church of the PC (USA) to ECO - A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians, whose mission is to build flourishing churches that make disciples of Jesus Christ.
We are guided by our denominational values and theological essentials.
MVPC LEADERSHIPA strong team has been assembled to walk the congregation through life. Many of us work part time, but most are around on Sundays. Feel free to come up and introduce yourself, we'd love to get to know you!
MVPC ELDERS, DEACONS & TRUSTEES
Our elders, deacons and trustees are elected by the congregation to provide servant leadership to the church for a term of three years, and may be eligible for re-election for a second term.
