stewardship

The MVPC Stewardship Committee’s mission is to inspire and mobilize the MVPC congregation, as Christian disciples, to share their gifts of time, talents, possessions and money for the glory of God.

This includes the following functions:

  • Caretakers of the Church: provide the resources necessary for MVPC to realize its purpose in helping seekers and believers become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
  • Caretakers of the Kingdom:  promote and support programs and organizations that embody Christian ideals both within and outside our community.
  • Caretakers of the Environment: provide education and support for programs that preserve and enhance the natural environment such as reduction, reuse, & recycling programs, and habitat protection & restoration.
Check out our stewardship links on the left for more MVPC stewardship information.

Styrofoam Recycling

The stewardship committee will be recycling Styrofoam on Earth Day, Sunday April 22 before and after morning services. Please bring clean #6 Styrofoam and peanuts to the trailer outside the sanctuary foyer, and we'll do the rest! Tell your friends and neighbors, they can participate as well.
