helping hands
Helping Hands is a ministry of MVPC's deacons. They organize volunteers willing to give a helping hand and share their talents to help in our community as needs arise.
We can all be a Helping Hand in our community.
Those who sign up to be a Helping Hand are contacted by a Deacon or
other senior staff member when a need arises that fits a given member’s
skill set. Some of the most common needs include: transportation
(rides to Dr. visits, etc.), meals, chopping wood and other home
maintenance, but there are also many other ways volunteers can help. What gift can you share?
The Deacons spread the needs among Helping Hands volunteers so no
one person is called upon repeatedly. Typically a volunteer is contacted 1-2
times per year and if a request does not fit your schedule for whatever
reason, you can always decline with no pressure.
If you are interested in giving of your time or talents, or would just like more information, please submit this form or leave a message on the Deacon's voice mail line 425.432-5876 ext. 53 so they can contact you.
Thank you for serving our community!
