Welcome to MVPC


Our purpose statement:
MVPC is a community of small groups seeking to restore people into the life of God through Jesus Christ.

While we are all at different points on our faith journeys, it is our desire at MVPC to help you find and take your next step. We believe a part of this journey includes three important and ongoing steps.
 
   Connect with God and others
This step includes getting to know Jesus and others through connection and teaching in environments like our Sunday morning services.
 
   Grow together with an intentional small group of friends
Growing together is all about pursuing personal, spiritual and relational growth in an intentional small group of friends.
 
   Engage in an area of service
Engaging in service means finding ways to use the gifts and talents God has given each of us to share God's love with others.
 
As we experience this journey and participate in this rhythm of restoration, we are (re)introduced to Jesus Christ and we experience His life-restoring love. We can then live with expectancy that God will change our lives, impact lives in our community, and make an impact through us around the world.
 
Some Bible passages that speak to being restored into the life of God:
  • John 10:10 - "I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. "
  • Psalm 23:1-3 - "The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. "
  • 2 Corinthians 4:15-17 - "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all."
